Derek Update

Just FYI for all those people that are interested. My little brother, Derek, had his Cochlear Implant turned on this last Friday. This is huge for our family! So far everything is going well. I talked to Derek after it was turned on and he said he is tired of talking because the sound of his own voice gives him a headache. I don't know all the details but, I guess until he gets used to all the noise, it is going to be pretty hard on him.
